They should thank God he doesn’t have an army at his beck and call, or they would find out what commies do to dissidents.
Marks Beginning to Realize They are Marks

New Yorkers deserve what they voted for good and hard.
Walking around the city this past Saturday, they clearly are putting emphasis on making the sure the “tourist” areas (Times Square, Theater District, MSG) look presentable – but as soon as you step outside it – piles of trash, puddles of unidentified goo, and vagrants galore. It was not pleasant to go off the beaten path this time. And the subway…egads!
Gooder and harder, indeed…
At some point, reality intrudes.
I don’t think Mamdani will finish his term, either he resigns or is recalled. I read on-line that the Governor can remove if he gets bad enough. Don’t know if that’s true or not, but I don’t think the Democratic Party wants their flagship city to go so publicly down the drain before the 2028 elections.
Of course, New York deserves what they get. Communists don’t give a darn about people, and a bunch of ignorant people who are ignorant of history elected I haven’t heard a thing from the new Archbishop of New York about this. There’s no way a Catholic Archbishop should lend any support to a Communist.
The next logical step for Mamdani and his team would be to amend the city’s voting process, to make it more difficult for them to be voted out. Look for his administration to push for increased use of mail-in ballots, extending the validity of mailed-in ballots past Election Day, ranked voting, voting without proof of identity, extending voting rights to non-citizens, and avoiding any cleanup of voting rolls— to name a few ‘improvements’.
Communists have no interest in free and fair elections, because in their view they merely perpetuate the system they wish to replace. No matter how badly Mamdani’s administration fails, New Yorkers will find it very difficult to vote them out.
Mamdani was elected by people who refuse to judge people by their accomplishments. They should not be so numerous, but they are. The man is an absolute joke. It will be run by people like Mamdani himself: people who haven’t a clue how anything works. (See Cea Weaver, who is, no surprise, the spinster child of a pair of faculty members). The older generation dies off and they’re replaced by young people who are completely unserious or are just looking for someone to seize someone else’s property.

New York is not Wisconsin nor is it California. There are no provisions for recall. All kinds of problems with elections administration in this country (though, fewer in New York). Ranked-choice voting isn’t one of them.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA….(inhales)….BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
It’s his idiot muslim friends I worry about.. not the commies.
Same with Virginia. She ran as a moderate, made all the right, soothing noises and got elected. After election, promptly called for six new taxes. Will they ever learn?
Virginia is on the road to ruin. At one time not long ago there was a balance between the DC suburbs of Northern Virginia, which was never as hard core leftist as Maryland’s Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, Richmond, Hampton Roads and the Southland.
Now, Northern Virginia rules the roost. Virginia already has dumb taxes. Sales tax on groceries. Sales tax on clothes. The dreaded personal property tax on cars, boats, RVs, ATVs, trailers. Well, thanks to the “educated, affluent, professional” types of Loudon, Fairfax, Prince William and Arlington Counties and the City of Alexandria, Virginia will become Maryland, an over regulated, overtaxed state with an overbearing state government. There are counties in Maryland and Virginia that want to join West Virginia. Not likely to ever happen but a smart idea.
New York City and New York State are on the road to ruin.
