I had this conversation in recent years (probably at the height of the 2020 woke nonsense) with my father and brother – reminding them that despite their rah-rah liberalism they’d be the first ones lined up against the wall if the Revolution™ succeeded. They insisted it wouldn’t be true, because supporters are the good guys, side of the angels, blah blah blah.
History (and bad things) only happen to *other* people, apparently.

Mr. Stancil is forty years old. He has a law license, but does not appear to practice. He has some extended liberal education, but is not teaching. He is unmarried and childless. Stalin came very close to losing his part in WW II with the purges of the 1930s. God willing, todays leftists may be more successful in their efforts to attain internal ideological purity.
After reading this, I dipped my toe into this guy’s bluesky account. Ick. They are really after him now. And he does seem to at least try to introduce some balance on issues. He tried to debunk a claim that BLM leaders are being assassinated. Just when you think the Left can’t get any crazier, they get crazier.
