Minnesota may well trigger Trump to use the Insurrection Act, with Governor “I’m Just a Knucklehead” doing everything in his power to obstruct Federal agents in the performance of their duties. I have always enjoyed reading about the Civil War; I do not enjoy living in such times.
From 10 USC Chapter 13 Insurrection:
§252. Use of militia and armed forces to enforce Federal authority
Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.
If Federal Law should not apply to the sovereign State of Minnesota, then neither should Federal benefits. The proper thing to do at this point is to cut off all Federal monies going into the State of Minnesota for whatever reason.
Didn’t Arizona(?) try to enforce immigration law during the Biden years and lose in court? Seems like the obvious result of that would be that states don’t have the right to get in the way of the feds doing their jobs…
Based on their social media and blog posts, the attitude of the Democrats is that if Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, he will have fallen onto their “trap” and they will sweep the midterms as a result, and remove him from office via impeachment.
Predictions are not my forte, but I think they will regret an Insurrection Act outcome more than Trump and the rest of us normies will. Hope I’m right.
Maybe we can just trade Minneapolis and it’s environs for Alberta.

People seem to forget, unlike in 2020, Trump no longer needs to worry about running for office. He can do what he thinks needs to be done. Now if he can only get rid of Pam Bondi…

I think I would suggest that Trump actually temporarily withdraw most of the ICE forces—the Left has mobilized and is seriously looking for another killing to validate their cause.
