I’m happy for the people of Venezuela. But here’s a question: what do you think will happen with Maduro ‘s ban on abortion? He’s an outlier as a socialist on this issue. Will Venezuela continue this pro-life policy? (There were the usual exceptions to this ban under Maduro.)

Take it as you will, but an old and rather ominous prophecy by the late Venezuelan seer Maria Esperanza, when asked about major future events, has been making the rounds of late: “It will begin here.”
