In my parish we have been saying it during the petitions for many years. It does my heart good at every Mass to hear that prayer against evil being thundered out.

The parish I’m now at also, it’s grand.
(the posted mural is not catholic nor- , the one below is correct.)
I wish we prayed this at my parish. However, it is the closing to my recitation of the Rosary, after the Hail Holy Queen.
My Nonna taught it to me when I was young (maybe 4-5) and it has always stuck as a powerful prayer, even when I was quasi-lapsed in my 20’s.
Saturday 12 of us stood outside in prayer at the Traverse City Law enforcement center from 12 noon to 1pm. With a beautiful St. Michael the Archangel banner in our presence, we joined over 1200 cities praying the same prayers for all officers. 38 St. Michael cards were given to Sargent Kyle after our prayers were recited. He said he will happily pass them out to the force.
Hat tip to ANF for the years of organizing these events around the country.
After every Mass we recite the St Michael the Archangel prayer.
We do this after every Sunday Low Mass at Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish.
At my parish, we recite the St. Michael Prayer after Communion, before the final blessing, under our good pastor’s direction.
A parishioner once objected to it, saying it does not have an official place in the Liturgy. Our organist, who was quietly listening to the conversation which took place in the sacristy, replied that announcements promoting bingo and parking lot updates do not have an official place in the Liturgy, but no one objects to them. And that, surely, we can manage to get through reciting a powerful, 20-second prayer without getting our knickers in a knot.
I agree with him!
