I’ll read it right after I read other recent Vatican documents on: climate change, how to perform gay couple blessings and why the Mass of ages is bad.
I have read that this document was written and to be published under Pope Francis, but he died, so its publication was delayed until now.
As to the document itself, Marian titles come and go, I entered the church attending Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, and that title, I understand, was suppressed a long time ago. If Co-Redemptrix and Co-Mediator are valid and true, they will come back. Look at the history of the Divine Mercy devotion, that was suppressed for a while, but is now one of the most popular devotion today. God’s will always prevails.
Yes! This 1000 times! The hypocrisy is so glaring that even the narcissist in charge of the DDF can’t pretend it’s not there!
Matthew, I agree— and I think much can be gained by having the Church discuss and ponder this title and what it means. Besides, Our Lady is in heaven at the side of her Son, and to paraphrase President Lincoln she’s “far above our poor power to add or detract”.
Yes!
