Going back is moving forward in a progressive world which honors man and despises God.

To love God with all your mind, heart, body and soul. And to love neighbor as yourself.

If going back focuses upon these two commandments of Jesus then it would behoove the Vatican to promote the Traditional Latin Mass.

If loving God is exemplified by committing mortal sins and doing nothing to make people aware of those sins, and even coddles the sinner by blessing their unions, then false God worship is at hand. If you speak of loving the sinner yet do nothing to admonish them and warn them of the consequences thereof, you are an accomplice.

There is no room for a lavender Mafia except in the deepest pits of hell.

Yes. Going back v going forward is salvation when the forward path leads to the cliff of insanity.

Reminds me of knitting. When you discover you missed a stitch so far into your knitting, do you ignore it and keep going to finish…you will allow that annoying hole stare you in the face for as long as you wear that knitted jumper? Sometimes the pain of going back is better than denial and it eventually will catch up to you. Wise fella that CS Lewis.
