I have had kidney stones but they wouldn’t pass. I had to have surgery to remove them so I did not experience the kind of pain you describe. The pain that revealed that i had kidney stones was just kind of a dull ache that wouldn’t go away.

Steeping parsley and drinking the water reduces the stone but it may take a week or two. Celery helps gout go away and okra helps blood sugar to level off.
Parsley keeps the kidneys clean of e-coli as does cranberries. Even lemon juice in drinks every day helps the kidneys.
Mom used the parsley to hear her stone drop.
And always yogurt, plain Greek which is yogurt put through a cheese cloth to remove extra whey. It is almost like cheese and can be used as sour cream on baked potatoes. Now I’ve made myself hungry.

Also: yogurt replaces the good bugs in the stomach after antibiotics destroy every kind of bug. To be taken in between does of antibiotics.
Here is a new one. Honey the great health wonder is antibiotic and can and sometimes does wipe out all the bugs in the tummy and the yogurt is necessary to replace the happy bugs, also to be taken in between the honey and or antibiotics.

I’ve had kidney stones. On the one hand, yes, the jaggedness makes it worse, but on the other, if someone pushed a perfectly smooth ball bearing through your palm and out the other side, it’s still going to be a memorable experience.

I’ve had kidney stones and had to have lithotripsy as they were too large to pass. In the ER I asked the doctor to just take me outside and shoot me. They make childbirth seem like a walk in the park. Water is your friend!
