Thought for the Day

If St. Antony was with us now, he would say they became woke.
This morning, Rorate Caeli has a post that has an excerpt from the USCCB website. It was written by the auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Washington. To sum it up, this lunatic says God is…Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Human stupidity spreads like mold. I could not imagine living within the Archdiocese of Washington. One of the greatest days of my life was leaving that area.
Penguins Fan,
Hear hear! I, too, was glad to extricate myself from those people. A couple of my friends even called my move “The Exodus”.
Glad to hear it, Josh. The Washington Archdiocese faithful have been stuck with McCarrick, Wuerl, Gregory and McElroy and seen the TLM at Old St. Mary’s destroyed.
Luckily across the Potomac River from DC is the Arlington Diocese whose four bishops have been conservatives. The present bishop is Michael Burbidge. Currently there are 40 diocesan seminarians studying for the priesthood. Also there are 70 parishes and 6 missions. Most of the expansion is in the western part of Northern Virginia. The Cathedral of St. Thomas Moore has undergone renovation that is traditional in style. Many parishes and missions now have altar rails. What happens to the popular TLM is up to Pope Leo.
