In the 5th grade at St Thomas More the geography book had a photograph of rows upon rows of Japanese Christians crucified on crosses. After all these years I still have that picture in my mind. I also remember that I asked the sister since there were no cameras in 1620 how did the photograph come about? She told me to sit down. Now in hind sight it must have been a frame from a film.
