I don’t see how this is not a good sign for advocates of the traditional Latin Mass.

I’ve never been to a SSPX chapel, but I wish the Society well. I hope this development signals a thawing of Rome’s hardheartedness
towards all Catholics devoted to the preconciliar rites. This is some “accompaniment of the marginalized” I can get behind!

It’s a good step, but until it is shown that the open hand isn’t going to result in a smack, it’s best to be guarded in our optimism.

It is to be hope that a mutual understanding can prevail in between the SSPX and the Holy See. It would seem like Pope Leo XIV is the ideal person to bring it about, a love for tradition, a canon lawyer, wants to bring calm and peace back to the Church. We can only pray this comes about.

Is inviting and including a vocal LGBTQ+ group, which advocates in favor of it, to the Jubilee event a good sign too?

Remember, the SSPX was the only traditional group shown any kind of indulgence by Pope Francis.
