Good reminders for me.

This will be great for the start of school, especially with many of the kids who haven’t been to Mass since the Baccalaureate in late May.
In addition to not eating during mass, I think it should include leaving the “millennial water jug” in the car.
I agree Bill except in case of medical necessity. I am on a med that drys me out to a degree that I am unable to swallow the Host without water.
I am a bit confused by how acceptable it has become to bring the Stanleys (or Yetis) into church. Which then has the secondary effect of a bathroom line during Mass.
I get why the choir may have water, and those with medical needs as well, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to go without it for the healthy.
Turning off the cell phone is the important one. I know a number of people use their phone to follow the readings, but the temptation to look at other things is always there. Often, during the homily especially, I see people looking at their phones or texting. Bite the bullet and buy a good daily missal and take it to mass.

Move in, don’t block the pew nor insist on being at the end…
“Think of others.”
(I realize that there are times when there is a reason, but most often there’s not.)
David WS-
Blessed the Mass that needs your advice.
Too often I have a row to myself.
