Saint Ignatius Loyola Weeps

James Martin must go!
I am Jesuit educated as well, and I look back and wonder if I should have gotten a refund. The worst part is, I’m not sure the order even considers Fr. Martin a problem…
James Martin is pathetic. As for anyone protesting the cancellation of that wretched program…they haveore than a few screws loose.
Rush Limbaugh, in one of his many gold nuggets of wisdom, pit it correctly when he said that the Left goes nuts when out of power. Now, the Left is nuts anyway..or beyond it…but the political and social scene has been put through a wringer since Trump walked down the escalator ten years ago.
The Left is fully exposed. They run around like cockroaches in a New York City apartment. They scream like monkeys (a cousin had a monkey in training to help quadriplegics…you have never heard screaming like that) and carry on like three year olds in a supermarket checkout line when told no candy today.
Newsmagazines and newspapers are nearly dead. CNN and MSNBC are on life support. Broadcast TV viewership has plunged. Most Hollywood productions are duds. Colleges and universities have been exposed for being frauds.
Every time a Democrat opens his or her mouth the stupidity meter needle goes to red.
Rant off.
We shouldn’t forget that there are good Jesuits. I’ve known two. When they live in line with their founder’s vision, they are fierce advocates for Christ. The fact that that number is so small is one indication of Don’s point.
I suspect that Saint Ignatius is marshaling the Heavenly Hosts right now.
This reminds me that I need to have a book burning to burn the couple of books that I have in my library that he authored. Think I’ll wait until St ignatius’s feast day since it’s right around the corner anyway.
We will know that Pope Leo XIV is serious about reform when he does something about clerics (bishops and priests) like Father James Martin. Pope Leo doesn’t need to support Donald Trump, nor should he support any politician for that matter. But he should be Catholic enough to stop homoerotic heresiarchs like Father James Martin.
Burning books by St. Ignatius or Father Martin?
I’m a graduate of Marxist… excuse me, Marquette, University. I had many fine Jesuit professors. Also some liberation theologians. I was hoping they were the anomalies. Sadly they weren’t.
I have yet to her Fr. Martin defend Christ or the Church, but when gays and Stephen Colbert is attacked, he’s out in front. Imagine we live in an age where a priest feels that it’s a gospel value to defend a loser comic who is a millionaire many times over. What a time to be alive!
An elected President to go. A mediocre talk show host to stay. That’s funny. With all that’s going on in the world at the moment it’s good to see Martin has his priorities in check.
