Long time readers of the blog may recall the commenter T. Shaw whose inights over the years enlivened the blog. I loved his sense of humor, his wit, and his deep love for the Church and the US. I recently learned that he passed away in early May of 2023. I had wondered why he hadn’t commented since May 1, 2023, so I did some researching and found out about his death. He had a long career, very respected in his field, a wonderful family and was deeply beloved. I will not reveal his real name since here he was always known by his blog name. May you be enjoying the Beatific Vision T. Shaw, and if God ever needs a good accountant to audit Satan, I know who he will turn to!
Requiescat In Pace: T. Shaw
- Donald R. McClarey
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
I’ll be sending my prayers for his soul this morning at Mass. Rest in peace sir.
RIP. I also have missed his posts. Thanks for checking it out.
Eternal rest grant upon him. May he rest in peace.🙏🏻
I miss T. Shaw’s politically incorrect wit and wisdom. He often said in bald English what many of us were thinking but wouldn’t say because of causing offense.
I’ve missed him. Thanks for letting us know.
Oh – Rest in Eternal Peace T. Shaw.
+1 to all comments
Rest in peace my brother in Christ.

T.Shaw was a fun presence here … I had thought he got banned for any one of his more “colorful” posts. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest.
Rest in Peace my friend.
T. Shaw could be outspoken. Maybe a New Yorker. Miss his comments. He referenced a son in the service. I am sure his family misses him. May his soul rest in peace.
