I love the idea of Vatican City putting together a team for the Olympcs. For the opening ceremonies, they already have the best uniforms, the Swiss Guards, the cardinals, the monsignors, … the Pope.
And what a pool of international talent to draw from. It isn’t just elderly archbishops. The pope could potentially grant citizenship to people from anywhere. Think of Monsignor LeBron James, Usain Cardinal Bolt. Endless possibilities
And a flag and an anthem for the gold medalists.
