I am not a big believer in such speculations prior to a Conclave. Media from around the world gather to cover a Conclave. The lack of any real news until a pope is announced lead to endless speculation stories often based on a almost nothing.

This is the season when most of catholic media act like giddy school girls. God KNOWS. I’m good and glad -since there’s just no way the Cardinals could choose as confusing, tyrannical, illogical, ideological and heretical as last time.

David WS – There has never been a heretical Pope, and there will never be one. That was affirmed by St. Robert Bellarmine, who is a Doctor of the Church. This is the real tradition… – I prefer Cardinal Peter Erdo this conclave.
