The piper, dressed in particolored costume, rid the town of Hamelin (Hameln) in Brunswick of rats by enticing them away with his music, and when refused the promised payment he lured away the town’s children in the same manner.
The Piper is alive and well. The children are confused. Identity crisis’, entitlement syndrome and parents who just won’t parent.
Church?
Why bother?..they say.

And the piper keeps-a-pipping away.
