However much you despise the formerly mainstream media, you do not hate them enough.
Surprise!

Anyone who believes the WHCA is a group of actual journalists and not a collection of hacks and partisan grifters is either not paying attention or is part of the grift.
I’d love to see this administration do an end-run around these losers by setting up a second press pool, one not run by the Associated Press. Sure, the dinosaur corporate media could have their increasingly irrelevant press conferences just like always, and Karoline Leavitt can continue to school them there. But the White House could set up a second press pool, and open it to the new media— podcasts, YouTube channels, blogs and vlogs, even X/Twitter accounts. Surely there’s a fair way of admitting representatives of the new media— perhaps a lottery for seats. Anything would be better than what’s currently in place at the White House, with the Associated Press running the pool. It takes years for a new media outlet to get a seat in that collection of dinosaurs.
It would be a wonderful bit of trolling on the part of this administration to have the President field questions and chat up with the new press pool while ignoring the fossils at the old corporate media pool. The new media would thereby consistently scoop the old media on stories, and underscore and accelerate their irrelevance.
I love Clinton’s idea. That time has come.
My take, for what it’s worth;
The failed Biden looks as though he is aimlessly walking about. Preparing to scoop up some ashes and cover himself.
The other photo needs no explanation.
God hears the prayers of the oppressed.
After countless millions of dollars to cancel D.J. Trump, through rigged courts, bogus debate rules, biased media outlets and an assassins bullet, Trump and Trump supporters prayers were answered.
One photo is dead. A past better forgotten.
Possibly the WHCA is on it’s last breath.
Photo of the year: Biden walking over to the chimney to see if Santa Claus has arrived.
The White House Correspondents’ Association just gave an award to Alex Thompson of Axios for breaking the news that Biden was deteriorating on June 29, 2024, two days after the debate.
