The Pope has proven amazingly durable. This time feels different to me. We shall see.

“He looks like P John XXIII as he was dying.”
Exactly what this party thought.
It’s up to God. And when it happens, I pray he dies in the State of Grace.
And Cdn O’Connor, NYC. Years ago. RIP.
I heard a comment on the radio yesterday (Friday) that we should expect another conclave by summer. So alot of people see it too.
And my mother, who died of heart failure six years ago the 19th.
The Pentecostal church of my youth was pastored by an obese man whose bloating was similar to Pope Francis. He had diabetes, and he failed to properly regulate his diet and exercise. His kidneys finally malfunctioned, hence the bloating. He died within months.
As for Pope Francis, given what he has done to the Church, I have little sympathy for him. The best I can do is pray that he dies in a state of grace even though he has not governed the Church in the state.
