Vance Speaks to the European Oligarchs

A spectre is haunting Europe: conservative populism.  In the name of combating that terrible menace, European governments have practically eliminated freedom of speech.  They have shackled their economies with onerous and impoverishing regulations in order to fight the phantom emergency of climate change.  They are being inundated with Islamic illegal aliens, and anyone who notices the crime and violence they bring in their wake is tarred with being a racist.  They fully embrace the sad farce of wokism.  JD Vance represents what they fear most:  electoral defeat by conservative populist parties at the hands of their increasingly restive populations.  What they really should be fearing is what President Kennedy said almost 63 years ago:  Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.

Great quote:
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

We had city underground electric secondary network vaults catching on fire one hot summer. It was embarrassing to have smoke and gas coming up underground into the street.

A VP demanded all vault vents be closed. An engineer turned to him and said “You want me to create a bomb!?”

The whole MAGA movement is basically people fed up with the emperor’s invisible wardrobe having the guts to stand up and say:

“Hey, perv, WTF? Put on some clothes!!”

A story that probably belongs on Open Thread:
The citizen cried out for freedom. To rid himself of the citizen the king plotted to execute him for treason. A roast goose dinner was held. The citizen was invited and called on to carve the goose. The head is for the king as the king is head of the nation. The neck is for the queen as she supports the king. The wings are for the cabinet of advisors for they keep the nation balanced. The legs are the army as they march for peace.
“What of the body?” they asked. “The body is for me, for I represent the body of people.”
Our rosaries are being answered.

I fear for the future of Europe. Have the people awakened soon enough to stave off what seems to be the inevitable triumph of the Caliphate? Every source I can find that isn’t a WEF mouthpiece indicates that, however bad I thought it might be over there, it’s much worse. Britain already seems lost, along with Ireland, the Low Countries, and Germany, to the point where the peaceful revolution Pres. Kennedy referred to may no longer be possible. Same goes for Sweden. Italy may be in the best shape of the nations that once were the heart of Christendom, thanks to Georgia Meloni and her party, which is very good news for the Vatican, although I don’t expect Francis or any of his globalist buddies to admit that. I pray she continues to be successful.

Unfortunately, the shrill reaction of the Euro elites to VP Vance indicates they are still as clueless as most of the Democrats in the USA. May God help them see the truth in time.

Western Europe and Canada both suffer from the same sort of national sclerosis.

The Baltic states and Poland have not skimped on defense spending but he have suffered a brain drain to the West, they have miserably low birth rates. As of now, a coalition led by EU suckup Donald Tusk governs Poland. Poland has a small but virulent band of anti Catholics and the Church in Poland has been politically outmaneuvered by the secularism of Western Europe. Even USAID was alleged to be funding woke nonsense there.

Trump and Vance have told them what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. Trump told the Germans not to be dependent on Russian oil and gas in his first term. The Germans laughed at him. They are not laughing now.

Trump’s entire “Canada as the 51st state” is master trolling and intended to embarrass Trudeau, his stupid Liberal Party and the people who voted to keep him in power for nine years. Trump made a reasonable request that Canada tighten it’s border security, crack down on fentanyl and spend more on defense. Too many people do not understand that
