That, incidentally, you invited into that womb.
Isn’t it odd, that we act as if what happened on January 6th never happened before, when violent protests and riots happened in 2016 through Trump’s inauguration. In fact, my sons pointed out that the difference was 2021 was a single event with a single group of hundreds of people in one place. The protests and riots, violence and destruction, attempts to undermine the election and attacks on innocent people in 2016 and 2017 were spread out over days and weeks and happened all around the country. But apparently that’s no problem. And this doesn’t count the 2020 protests and riots, though I know there are some who insist those were overwhelmingly peaceful and nobody was really hurt with those.
Dave G., to your very good point I’d add my observation that in the 2016 election we saw Trump’s rallies repeatedly targeted by violent leftist activists (and Trump supporters blamed for causing the leftists’ violence)— but I cannot recall a single instance of Trump supporters disrupting Hillary events and attacking her supporters.
Funny how that works…
Dave and Clinton, it’s double standards because a crowd entered a government building filled with elitists leftists and it posed a security breach to their safety.
Remember, the upper-crust left are only about the common person and equality and freedom of speech when it suits them, doesn’t hinder their self-serving agendas and when the plebs are as far away from them as possible in their protests.
The left doesn’t care about the street riots because it didn’t affect them and it only affected the common pleb.
They were (and still are) shocked, shocked I tell you, that a crowd of nobody commoners dared to enter their reserved sacred spaces and dared to breathe the same air as them.
But more importantly, they are completely indignant anyone challenged their supreme authority and corruption so strongly and so close to home.
I just can’t help but mentally picture the likes of Nancy Pelosi and AOC going into fits of rage then hyper-ventilating every time J6 is brought up, knowing how close the commoner got to them…
