Yeah, not WAS driven, but HAS driven. Deliberate manipulative framing of the story… Assume every headline you read is propagandizing, parse it out to find the manipulation, and your cynicism will most often be rewarded.
Identical media obfuscation occurred when some atheist whack job did the same thing in Wisconsin a couple of years ago. MSM is dying and the plug needs to be pulled to help it along.
Fuzzy data out now suggests the perpetrator was an Arab partisan infuriated that the German government did not mollycoddle Arab ‘refugees’ to the extent he deemed apposite.
One media outlet claim the perpetrator to be an “ex-Muslim” and “far-right” supporter who was disgruntled at the German government for “Islamising” Germany. The “ex-Muslim” was “Islamophobic”…. So he drove a car into a crowd at a CHRISTMAS market….Not a Ramadan Market… a CHRISTMAS market.

Reminds me of an old Rush Limbaugh rant about how SUVs were killing everybody because SUVs act autonomously don’t you know.
The important thing is that now very many people are looking at the way the Press words things and coming to the conclusion that it’s complete propaganda. I wish I had a nickel for every time I said that I thought Pravda was more honest. At least they didn’t pretend impartiality.
LKL- yes but when is journalism going to actually start being journalism- objective and factual?
