“gulp.”
Obama lost his fourth term.
“We are here because we are fighting for a democracy. Fighting for a democracy. And understand the difference here, understand the difference here, moving forward, moving forward, understand the difference here.” -KH
oh yeah…sweet
And just like that…
Congratulations America. You deserve this. Onwards and upwards!
Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Too big to rig materialized. I am sure that there are dems who want to do shenanigans to throw the election, but now they would have to do it in Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan AND one of Pennsylvania or Georgia. I don’t think that they have the manpower to do it, and even if they did at this point it would be such a blatant coup that those on top would not be willing to move forward with it.
As long as election security and border security are locked down in the next four years, we can return to having honest elections. Since there are signs that the culture is reversing, that will lead to many of the other problems in this country getting fixed.
Well said, Rudy. They still are trying to steal senate seats in WI, NV, and PA, and AZ they probably did
(To paraphraseLieutenant Ohura from the old Star Trek parody) I’d say they done took a shellackin’!
Trump is at 5 million advantage in the popular vote.
The Senate will be Republican controlled (with J.D. Vance the President thereof).
The House elections are looking good (as of 0930).
And best of all, Pres. Trump has won an incontrovertible victory.
What a night! So many good people doing what needed to be done. (Most charming example perhaps: the Amish turning out to vote some 20,000+ strong.)
Congrats to Penguins Fan!
Must feel pretty good to be a Pennsylvanian today!
Take *that* Philly!
Unlike it’s neighbors, PA overcame the reflexive lib tendencies of its largest metro. Big bragging rights in that section of the country. ( Contrast NJ, NY & VA )
It is a great day. Popular and electoral college vote will mean a lot.
We are still in BIG trouble. Trump bested Harris, not the libs. The blue patches on the map are mostly solid blue and big electorally. (My young daughter wanted to know why we hadn’t won with so much of the map being red. I informed her that we count people, not acres – and that if we counted acres we would already have won.)
Last time a washed up also-ran politician and a stable economy sunk Trump. This time, an unlikable candidate and a bad economy were barely sufficient to swing a country to Trump. (Consider how he would have been slaughtered contesting Obama for Obama’s second term.)
I don’t like it, but just like the abortion issue, there is a whole lot of eye opening needed if we are to truly turn the corner in the US. Both abortion and socialism need to become more than tolerated, but unpopular. They need to be widely recognized for the cancerous evils that they are. This morning, we are still a very long way from that.
Keep praying. An unprincipled enemy will be throwing everything they’ve got against Trump for the next four years.
Pray for those @-&$# enemies too – it’s what we’ve been commanded to do…
Thought I would pop over here for a moment and say “Thank God” though prayers must still go on.
Of all people, Chris Matthews on CNN this morning, gave a dose of reality to the other left-wingers, saying “Open the borders? That’s the stupidest idea ever!” And raked Biden- Harris-Mayorkas over the coals for their absolutely criminal policy on the border.
so sometimes you find the truth in the strangest places.
@Philip N: Another thing: DeSantis strongly opposed Prop 4 in Florida, which would’ve provided a wide-open abortion in that state. It was defeated, because he explained it to the constituency and they voted it down.
That is strong leadership. I have always felt that Americans do not want wide-open abortion, especially in the second half of a pregnancy term and definitely not post birth abortion, which we know is what the Democrats are moving towards (and of course, as Catholics we oppose all abortion, just to clarify my position: but I’ll take a half a loaf instead of all-out abortion, which is what they were able to pass in 4 other state). It’s consistent with their euthanasia policy.
But you have to have strong leaders explain an at least limited abortion policy and support it. And you will win.
“@Philip N: Another thing: DeSantis strongly opposed Prop 4 in Florida, which would’ve provided a wide-open abortion in that state. It was defeated, because he explained it to the constituency and they voted it down.”
The only reason that measure went down because it required a 60% super majority. 57% of Floridians voted to enshrine abortion into the state constitution and the idiot wing of the pro-life movement are calling this a victory.
This measure wouldn’t have been on the ballot if DeSantis hadn’t have cared more about looking more pro-life than thou than really saving babies because he was pandering to primary voters in Iowa.
The overwhelming 57% majority that voted for that measure tells you the bans in place are wildly unpopular. Good luck with enforcing them!
I am delighted that we will soon be unburdened by what, for the last four years, has been. What a relief!
“I am delighted that we will soon be unburdened by what, for the last four years, has been. What a relief!”
And that day is everyday.
This video posted at Dr. Steve Turley’s You Tube channel shows Trump supporters singing “How Great Thou Art”. I’m not certain but I think they must include people who joined him for his victory announcement and they were singing this just before he took the stage.

Millions of pre born babies sing Deo Gratias! Guy,Texas
PS: Guess who’s going to talk politics and religion at Thanksgiving dinner this year?
@ Steve Phoenix
The tug-of-war over abortion will not be settled until the hearts of pregnant women see see every life as being sacred , especially those in their wombs. Then and only then will abortion be conquered.
I thought that I had corrected my stutter…nope😬
And this from Wm. Kristol’s camarilla. Were these people always frauds?

Tom Elliott on X: “Anyone catch this? At the end of last night’s @BulwarkOnline’s election coverage, the hosts, agitated at Democrats’ impending demise, said the Biden Admin should have gotten even more extreme to prevent this from occurring. Jonathan Last (JVL): “[The Biden Admin] should have https://t.co/o0BaClnj6b” / X
Shea as Democrat shill is such utter abasement for the man. Not surprising, but still sad. As for Kristol’s collection of paid propagandists at The Bulwark, whatever principle once existed in their Never Trump stance has long ago been jettisoned in their eagerness to serve their new paymasters. Professional conservatives, in many cases, are no more reliable than professional Catholics, in many cases.
The only public figure in NeverTrump world who strikes me as truly principled is Marvin Olasky. He’s 76 years old, retired, and, as far as I can tell, saying very little.

I do know a sociological unicorn – a street-level Republican with an inveterate hatred of Donald Trump. She’s not bought. She’s 73 years old, retired, and in satisfactory shape financially. If she’s ever had anything to do with electoral politics, it would have been school board contests. She lives for her grandchildren. We are cousins, close genealogically but haven’t spent much time together. Her posts on Fakebook are more lucid than most I’ve seen, but they don’t make much sense. And you see the same susceptibility to Democratic talking points. (Heather Cox Richardson, Project 2025 as gotterdammerung). Her son has tangled with her unsuccessfully on these issues, so I say nothing.
