According to my two sons who went through college, this isn’t an unusual take. More than once they encountered students who believe the Soviets were the good guys and, Stalin aside, all of the stories you hear are just lies made up by American and Western liars trying to make communism look bad and cover up the true evils of the West.
The late President Ronald Reagan, whose actions destroyed the communist USSR, narrated the first movie about the Tuskegee Airmen, the all black Army Air Corps unit in WW!!.
