Speaking of racism: I am always gratified when a lily white liberal accuses me of being racist because I prefer Trump over Kamala the witch, and I show them a picture of my brown-skinned Filipina granddaughters.
I normally do a 4-mile walk / jog around the neighborhood in the morning when the weather isn’t too cold or rainy. I encounter all kinds of people, most of whom know my name (how I don’t know because I don’t know them). There’s a Muslim family on warm summer days out praying with their prayer beads on their front porch. The husband and wife always stop and wave at me and say hi. There’s a fat black woman jogging around the block, trying to lose weight like me, and she always waves and says hi; it is encouraging to see her not give up. There’s a Japanese man walking his dog who does likewise. There’s a Indian father and his teenage daughter jogging in the woods, and we exchange our mutual greetings. The daughter is never happy to keep up with Dad; most amusing. The only racism that exists is (1) in the minds of godless, worthless Democrats, and (2) perpetrated by Democrats against anyone rejecting their ideology. I may be one of the few old white men jogging in the morning in our neighborhood, but nobody gives a damn about my skin color, and I don’t care about theirs.
So Pope Francis, once again I give you the submarine sailor’s one-finger salute.
Radcliffe’s outspoken support for progressive sexual depravity is supported by the woke alphabet mafia with money from the abortion industry.
LQC, your experience matches mine, in our very diverse Dallas suburb. Whenever we encounter neighbors on the street everyone smiles and says hello. We have great block parties a couple of times a year and it’s like a big family gathering. My block is about 30 to 40 percent black or brown people from various places, mostly Asian, African, or South American in origin. I have never seen the slightest indication of racism from anyone to anyone else. It’s just not in the picture at all, unless we live among some of the best actors in the world.
Sigh.
Sometimes it seems those inside the walls of the Vatican think like those within the walls of the beltway. They think everything is politics.
I often wish the walls of both places were sufficient to keep such people out of our business.

Well, to be fair, St. Peter’s is probably one of the first echo chambers. It used that echo chamber to good use with Gregorian Chant, etc., but now it just insulates everyone there from hearing the Truth.
Thieves tend to assume that everyone else, given any chance, is going to steal from them. Racists assume that everyone else judges on the basis of race, just like they do.
Cardinal-elect Radcliffe assumes that the African bishops aren’t acting out of firmly held religious belief, but are instead making political moves to please well-funded pressure groups. I believe His-soon-to-be-Eminence is unknowingly telling us a great deal about what sort of person he himself is.
Modern progressives are behaviorists, believing that a man’s physical characteristics and circumstances explain his internal state. That’s why they’re so big on (1) putting people into little boxes by race, sex, class, etc. and (2) seeking power to manipulate circumstances. Fulton Sheen had them pegged a century ago.
The white cardinal “colonising” traditional theology adhered to by the black bishops…let’s patronise the blacks and perpetuate the narrative that blacks, black Catholics to be exact, are too stupid to think for themselves when they call BS on liberal “catholic” ideology that is infact BS!
