Not being emotionally attached to the feline species, it is difficult to decide whether to express absolute horror about this gruesome reality, or suggest an old family recipe.

It’s good to see that someone is asking actual residents rather than just taking the word of the public officials, but merely taking the word of one random resident giving a second hand report isn’t exactly good journalism either. There should be plenty of other people in Springfield who have either seen cats being snatched off the street, or had their own cats disappear. Multiple sources are always best.

So, it gets exposed and the local government people “look bad”
What next?

It would require many people, doing the right thing, to punish and correct. Do we have them, in the right places?

It already took many people participating in bad things to make this mess happen. We know we have those people – the result is the proof of this. Someone ordered, another obeyed, others processed paper, drove busses etc. It’s not like one guy in government did it all. Took lots of hands willing to do, or look the other way, or keep quiet – or all three.

Seek to do what is right, but know this : the rot is deep.

I saw a post on Substack, and I apologize for having lost it, which explained that this influx was orchestrated by the now-deceased former mayor of Springfield, who held office for most of 20-plus years. There is no way you can add 20,000 new residents to a city of 60,000 without people realizing what is going on. Yet they re-elected this man again and again, probably because of goodies purchased with the Federal “resetting refugees” tribute, reported to have been in the tens of millions of dollars. (Sounds a bit like the USCCB’s grift, but I digress.)

In other words, they voted for this. My sympathy is tempered by that fact. That’s admittedly not very charitable on my part, but there it is.

Ezabelle-

Haiti is a remarkably poor country, unless you’re one of the special people. (The border between the DR and Haiti is no joke, for that reason.)

Many of the Haitians I have met are hard bargainers, so even with a generous food card from Uncle Sam I can see many of them taking advantage of whatever low hanging fruit is available.

They have lived a very different life. My problem is that now that they are here, our society and particularly government (at all levels) fails to teach them what is acceptable.

I don’t want anyone going to jail over a shot goose, but the rule of law must be preserved. Otherwise, we become the place they fled.

For those who say this contradicts my earlier comment, what I want and what I expect to happen are different.

TBO – hmm…kinda reminds me of how we joke about Chinese restaurants and the “meat” that is used to serve to customers. At least the Haitians don’t serve cats to the public. And I’m with you about contradictions. Chinese food from a trusted restaurants is not bad (if you don’t mind the unquenchable thirst you get throughout the night after eating a MSG laden Chinese dinner).

Bad immigration policies are bad for everyone.

Note that they always say “we are not aware of any specific incidents of cats, geese, etc. being slaughtered” or “no credible source has reported on such incidents” not “no such incidents have occurred.”

They can keep saying those things by simply refusing to investigate, regardless of what is actually going on on the ground.

State Rep Kyle Koehler argues Springfield is a wonderful. town. Haitians don’t understand the laws. This amidst fatal wreck and cultural clashes. Haitians were brought in to take factory jobs. They were allowed to bring in 6 relatives. Rental houses have 20 occupants. Huge influx of non English speaking children into the schools. Medicad overwhelmed. 20,000 from a 3rd world country and the Feds expect the local citizens to be thrilled
Imagine 4 more years of Harris with Wilz! Vote early for Trump Vance even if you have to hold yours

Re cats …my guess cats and other animals are used for Santeria ritual sacrifice. For some reason they like statutes of St Barbara.

Three points here from a, by the grace of God, former Ohioan:

  1. The same thing happening in Springfield with Haitians has been going on in other areas of the state with migrants from other countries since the beginning of 2023. An influx of Uzbek migrants into northern Hamilton county (Cincinnati area), purportedly sponsored by a “church” in the area, was permitted to take over as much as one-third of a large corporate townhome complex. No doubt the money was passed from the Feds, through the Democrat county government, through the “church”, to the corporation. These Uzbeks could not speak a word of English, and their dialect was apparently too obscure for standard translation devices to allow effective communication. During this time, a human trafficking ring (from a Latin American country) was even caught operating in a unit within the same complex, and no official explanation or apology was ever given by the corporation to other residents. Objecting to the privileges of the newcomers was verboten, even as every jot and tittle of the lease, with its draconian financial penalties, was mercilessly enforced upon the “cash cow” natives, including myself, in the name of equity. Physically leaving as early as I could did not remove my responsibility for the final months of rent, forcing me to subsidize those who had driven me away and, I believe, were preventing the company from finding enough replacement suckers tenants (since no new funds were coming) to be able to fill the complex in real-time and lease my unit early. Beyond the complex, Uzbek-labeled trucks were all over the highways and rideshare drivers were Uzbek more often than not toward the end of my stay there.
  2. The same techniques regarding “credible sources” and “specific incidents” now being used to deny what is happening with fowl and cats in Springfield were used to deny what led to the sudden large bump in swing state Biden-Harris votes during the night following the 2020 election. I took myself off social media the next morning, because I could not “unsee” those mathematically implausible graphs, and have not returned to this day. Ironic that this is taking place in a town called Springfield, yet the theoretical “Simpsons” episode (and doesn’t T Tim remind you of Homer S?) that should lampoon such ridiculous, previously unimaginable, events will never be produced, nor will such things ever be chronicled in “South Park”, because the “irreverent” comedians behind such programs dare not buck the administrative state as currently constituted and place their own “cash cows” at risk. I challenge both sets of showrunners to prove me wrong.
  3. The ninny of a so-called “conservative” governor, who has run Ohio on autopilot for nearly six years, is complicit, by omission if not by commission. He deigned to show his face on a cable news network yesterday and offer excuses, along with pleas for federal funds to the state to solve the problems the federal funds to the counties caused, as lame and ineffective as his last-minute “objections” to the abortion and marijuana amendments were last year. He takes the narratives of the administrative state, and its Ohio-based representatives in the professional classes, at face value – just look at the mRNA “lottery” he ran in his state in 2022 on the say-so of the “thought leaders” at his large medical centers – and that is why he is a ninny, and another reason why I left.

I thank God that this is still the USA, at least for now, because in the UK, it is illegal to notice any of these things.

@ DP

As Catholic churches close, Buffalo diocese as an example, one doesn’t have to wonder too much about what will become of the buildings. Bar. Fitness center. Marijuana Emporium. Mosques.

The UK is doomed.

Philip-

The UK may be doomed, but don’t count out England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

They have survived Viking marauders, Tudor heretics, and Nazi appeasers.

They have produced Edward the Confessor and Shakespeare, Nelson and Tolkien, St Thomas More and Fr Benson.

There is a kernel of strength and goodness left there, even if it is very far from the seat of power.

May God grant such kernels wherever they dwell the gifts of fortitude, fidelity, and victory!

When the Jihad comes and it will come, the kernels possessing God’s gifts will have their work cut out for them. Your right though..God does get the last say. May we help sow the seeds of future greats to defend Truth when their Armada greatly outnumbers the Christian Fleet.

Our Lady of Victory…pray for us.

Today Trump held a lengthy news conference from his California oceanside golf course. Most of his speech was a reclama of Harris’ lies, Newsome’s governing failures, and the debate moderators’ inaccurate statistics. Unfortunately viewers could not hear questions asked, only his replies. He was IMHO at the top of his game. In his final remarks Trump said he would be stopping in Avon and Springfield.

D P, thank you for your detailed explanation. Quite an eye opener. There are a few news organizations like the Epoch Times and others that might investigate the social engineering going on.
