Copland was so influential to movie soundtracks, which are the under-the-radar vital musical genre of the past 50 years. You’ll sometimes see orchestras put on a Star Wars or Harry Potter concert for the kids, but I anticipate a lot more of it in both quantity and quality as the years go by.
