Shocked! Shocked!

The claims of the media to not have known the extent of Biden’s disability reminds us that the Fourth Estate and mendacity ever walk hand in hand.  They are acknowledging it now only because the Democrat party leaders understand that Biden must be dumped if they are to have any chance in the Fall.

”Bernstein: Sources say the President ‘has good days, he has bad days.’”

Interesting how the White House has kept the story of Biden’s otherwise obvious decrepitude from growing legs for four years, and suddenly the tight discipline is gone and ‘sources’ start blabbing.

It seems pretty clear that if White House staff are ‘leaking’ stories, it’s because they’ve been directed to leak. Similarly, the presstitutes of the mainstream media are only reporting on it because they’ve finally been given permission to do so.

It has been downright depressing to see how many liberals in my circles (have a lot of them, for better or worse) have the same reaction as Mr. Bernstein – that the debate truly was the first time they saw Biden as decrepit.

As for the wagon circling, we are now seeing a version of the “modified limited hangout”; since they can no longer hide it completely, the media has gone into mitigation mode. The leaks vs. the wagon circling is the behind the scenes civil war going on over Biden, I would have to guess. But what do I know?

Well at least the left’s propaganda mills didn’t resort to telling Americans that the debate was a deep fake. Even Satan knows his lies have limits

Agree with both Clinton and Josh. We tend to view the leftists as a uniform blob, when in truth, at least on the issue of Biden and his obvious incapacity, they are a disparate collection of well-funded, narrowly focused interest groups. Biden’s pathetic debate performance has forced them to acknowledge the nakedness of the King, and they now are frantically casting about for a way forward that preserves their respective efforts to suborn the government of this country to their particular purposes. There may well be some shadowy Hydra-like organization behind the curtain, so to speak, that more or less coordinates these disparate groups, but I get the feeling that such coordination may be like herding cats.

Around about 1998, Brent Bozell drawing on the content his staff collected and sorted through offered the view that the print media retained some degree of professional distance from the Democratic Party but that broadcast media were extensions of the Clinton PR apparat. About 15 years earlier, Jimmy Carter’s press secretary published a memoir in which he offered a general assessment that his boss really had few friends in the national press corps. About 15 years later, you have no discernible professional distance between the media and the Democratic press operation and all manner of familial relationships between Democratic press agents and people employed in media outlets. (I’m recalling when BO hired a Time reporter as his press agent a critic ran through a list of White House employees sharing the same bed with employees of major media).

Much of the media is no better than the Pravda and Izvestia of old, but it still employs people who began their careers in the residual-critical-distance era (e.g. Anderson Cooper) or during what Larry Sabato called the era of the ‘watchdog press’ (which he identified as running from 1966 to 1973). That would include Bernstein. It would also include Judy Woodruff, who retired less than two years ago. These war horses countenance the current situation. How about the people who retired earlier, like Ted Koppel and Max Frankel. Anything to say?

Possibly the dems will be a bit more introspective and less DEI when picking VP candidates in the future.

Who are these people taking their acting lessons from- they should be fired. It’s obvious that deliberately addressing the big white elephant that is Joe Biden dementia, is pure strategy and optics. The puppet masters would be negotiating the details with Jill behind the scene as to the extent of how far they may go to humiliate Biden in the media, now that they want to get rid of him. The left lies.

I realize many of you may consider this improbable, nevertheless, worse than Biden awaits his turn.

And he will be overwhelmingly supported by the fruit-cake nut-job liberal dim wits.

Ya gotta love the recent White House excuse
for Joes inability to have clarity at the debate.

A cold.

What ever they are paying the PS to stand and deliver this tripe isn’t nearly enough. A spin-ster like her should be hauling in a few million since her early retirement is looming. How she can keep a straght face is best supporting actress material…imo.
