Most were prematurely shutdown, and most such shutdowns occurred in Democrat-controlled states by the very politicians who claim they are most worried about climate change from fossil fuel pollution. Par for the course is the Pope meeting with one of these politicians figured in the photo above – Governor Newsom.

Now think about this: thousands of megawatts of clean, pollution-free electricity are gone forever while the politicians who did this are flying carbon-spewing jets to visit His Worthlessness in the Vatican to discuss the existential threat of climate change. I have spent almost a half century in the cleanest and safest power generating industry in the world since my time as a reactor operator in the nuclear submarine service in the 1970s. As I have repeatedly posted on this blog, even including Chernobyl (a mad communist design) and Fukushima (don’t put your emergency diesels on the beach to get flooded!), nuclear energy produces the fewest deaths per terawatt-hour of energy generation of any source of electricity. If Pope Freaking Francis – Jorge the Heretic – were concerned one iota about mortality from pollution off energy generation, then he would support nuclear energy tooth and nail, but he doesn’t because he is an idiot. I despise, abhor, detest, loathe, and hold in utter contempt and disdain that heretical Marxist Peronist Caudillo whom God gave us as punishment for our complacency, idolatry, and spiritual adultery. May the Lord Jesus Christ save His One Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church by deposing and anathematizing that tin-pot dictator-Pope and give us a REAL man of God (not that we deserve such a man).
