When talking about this pontificate, it’s not all that hard to be concise or amusing, but CHARITABLE? That third one is daunting, to put it mildly.

Any man that so loathes dogma also loathes truth. Any man that loathes truth, also loathes our God.

He should talk! Francis is a near sighted, bitter clinger of Peronist leftism.

I remember it being explained to me when I was on my odyssey away from liberalism (in my early 20’s) that projection is one of the strongest attributes, that once I saw it it would impossible to unsee it. And so here we are.

Ok now it’s a trifecta. My wife and I have been compared to “rabbits”, I’ve been called “stupid” for questioning climate science and now I’m “suicidal”.
I think there were other insults too over the years, but the biggest insult is this man as pope.

Here are some suicidal stats that won’t be on 60 Minutes.

Seminarians in the Metropolitan Seminary of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires:

1980’s (no precise year given): 200
2016: 80

The seminary received 15 new entrants this year.

In 2016, Buenos Aires — which has more than 3 million inhabitants — will see only three of its seminarians ordained to the priesthood.

The article reports that in Greater Buenos Aires. many parishes now either have no resident priest, or are served by priests from countries such as Poland and South Korea. The religious congregations are faring no better.

I’ll post the article in a moment.

Suicide is not what’s happening.
Murder is more like it.
The culture doesn’t lead the Church to Life and Restoration. The culture is a contagion.

Christ has given us great road signs to strengthen His Church with new vocations and growing parishes.

  • TLM
  • Adoration
  • Liturgy of the Hours

The leader of the Holy Catholic Church only sees what he wants to see. Hatred for the Church that is restorative because it’s not the way he wants the church to be restored. The gains being made by orthodoxy/conservative Catholic Church’s who have gone back to go forward are reminders of the failed 60’s -70’s highjacked V2 implementations that young George took part in.

Despite him, the Catholic Church will survive.

People will drive hours to be nurtured, taught and fed by Holy Catholic priests. They will even tolerate the cries of infants coming from the back of Church.

Suicidal conservative Catholic’s?

His witness on 60 Minutes, which chastises conservatives, calls to mind a good reason to avoid his interview.

Thanks JFK for this reminder from your link..

Where “Christians make war among themselves,” Pope Francis said, “there is no witness.”

Sad that he has it so backward (his backwardism?)

Dogma is not a box in which we are trapped. It is a fortress against the assaults of the world and the devil.

See St Thomas More’s comments re England being thick planted with law. Of course, Thomas is pre V2, so not very relevant to certain churchmen. Of course, certain churchmen did not find him relevant in his own day either.

Parting thought : in the sense that they cling to dogma instead of to their lives, is Francis suggesting that all of the martyrs were suicidal?

There’s some good (really good) in this interview, but this particular clip, it seems wrong to label it “NEW:” when it sounds just like the same old abuse.

(Thanks Don)

I am convinced the Lord Jesus has shown us the way out with this awful successor of Peter.
TLM, and all things old, true, wholesome, sacred and good.
Truly marvelous.

Thanks Be to God.
