Mark 16:15
He said to them, “Go into the whole world
and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”
When we don’t act obediently to the commands of Christ souls suffer. We are to bring the Good News to the end of the poles and everything therein.
The whole World.
28 and is autistic?
Death. A death sentence?
Incomprehensible to me.
If this is the same case I read about on Instapundit, she’s not just autistic, she has, or claims to have, major depression and some kind of personality disorder that her psychiatrist said would never get any better. Not that that justifies her decision in any way. One of the Insty commenters suggested she might have untreated latent toxoplasmosis from her cats (the commenter says she had it for years before she was finally diagnosed).
The patient will likely be saved.
The doctors, likely damned.
All the difference between truly being deceived and trying to deceive oneself.
She doesn’t fully understand what she is doing. If she did she wouldn’t be choosing to do it. Rather than helping her and loving, they offer to snuff her out? She is clearly suffering. She needs support and love, not a pillow over her face.
Odd: Euthanasia usually refers to a terminal act being inflicted by order of the State. In this case though, the woman seems to be making the choice. Assisted suicide would seem to be the more accurate term.
Wrong either way though.
Who is calling the shots?
