Trump at His Best

I gave Trump hell earlier this week for shilling a 60 buck Bible.  Today we see Trump at his best:

NEW YORK (WABC) — The heartbroken loved ones of fallen NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller will gather Thursday to say their final goodbyes at his first wake.

The NYPD made arrangements for Former President Donald Trump to attend the first wake at 2 p.m.

“President Trump is moved by the invitation to join NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s family and colleagues as they deal with his senseless and tragic death,” a spokesperson for Trump said.

Diller was on the force for three years and leaves behind a wife and an almost 1-year-old son. He was fatally shot in Queens during what should have been a routine traffic stop.

Go here to read the rest.  The issue of crime of course helps Trump, but long before he ran for office he was doing this:  helping out the families of cops and firefighters who fell in the line of duty, usually with zero publicity.  People with health problems in the Trump organization would sometimes find their bills taken care of by their boss.  His Secret Service detail purportedly love him, Trump being friendly, asking about their families and often giving them impromptu food and drink.   Trump has a brash and hard nosed exterior, but he gives every indication of being basically a nice guy when his business interests are not threatened.  The late Cardinal John O’Connor said that Trump always responded positively when he asked for help on a charitable matter.  Most politicians are so fake that they go through their careers living continual lies.  Trump is a man in full, who came to politics late, not the least of his attractive features.

I haven’t seen this reported in the media.

You are quite correct in your description of Trump. While most politicians move like a weather vane, Trump is quite clear about what he is. I do hope some enterprising reporter will eventually find out who is actually running the country under Biden. Of course we know their left wing agenda but would be quite informative to put a face on the person/people.

Donald, as much as I too would like to know, that enterprising reporter would likely become the next “inexplicable suicide.”

That’s just how far gone we are…

My wife and I attended the 2016 inauguration. On one of our trips on the transit system we met a young man who was amongst a group that Trump had a private audience (no press). In the course of the conversation Trump had asked about his family. The young man advised Trump about his grandfather’s cancer. As he was leaving the meeting he was handed a card and told where to go so that all medically issues would be taken care of by Trump.

A note to any FBI or CIA agents, No I was not in DC on Jan 6th.

Trump is one of people that just when you think he’s beyond redemption, he does something great or magnanimous and vicea versa.

God doesn’t need the piously sanctimonious. He prefers the flawed man full of defects of character and shortcomings to show His greatness. Remember that King David was an adulterer, a murderer, and couldn’t keep his own children under control. He was still a man after God’s own heart. I don’t like Trump. Too bombastic and egotistical for me. But God can use him nevertheless because beneath it all, he has a decency lacking in most other politicians and almost all clerics.

It doesn’t surprise me Trump would do that. I mean if he is for something, then he is all in. You know what you get with him.

Where’s his bigwig supporters? Kinda makes you shake your head.

Meanwhile, notice how the left always stick together. And you wonder why they stay in power despite their hollow agendas. And how they manage to pull-off having a man with full-blown dementia gain presidency and keep it despite the world knowing he isn’t even competent enough to dress himself unaided.

Trump attended a wake. Obama, Clinton and Biden attended a woke.

Trump has always done kind deeds like this. That’s why I voted for him, instead of Hilary and Biden. I can’t imagine those two, especially Hilary, ever bothering to help the lowly deplorables.
