Nikki Haley came in second, about eleven points behind. New Hampshire was a good state for her, because of the ability of Democrats and Independents to vote in the Republican primary, and it is a small state where campaigning in person can make an upset possible. None of that mattered in the end. Trump will be the nominee for the GOP.
