Socialism/communism is undoubtably, a superstition; but also probably one of the greatest Ponzi schemes of all time.
As long as you’re one of the early top dogs and get into the top positions early, you do really well.
Later on-boarders aka suckers, not so good..
If he wants to have a go at St Paul, let’s all have a go at Tony. Tony you are not that important mate. And you talk a lot of rubbish.
Those most enthralled with the modern world forget that, 100 years ago, those modernists were also sure that they knew it all.
You know, the same people they laugh at for drinking during pregnancy and giving young children aspirin.
Wouldn’t it be a blast to be able to watch Phony Baloney Tony go one-on-one with St. Paul?
So he doesn’t think the atmosphere is composed of water vapor? I must admit I’m now curious where he thinks clouds come from. Chemtrails? I kind of hope it’s that.
Socialism has never worked after being tried in various communal settings for two thousand years. It came close for the monks that made Christmas fruit cakes but the demand has fallen so much that it looks like they will soon be going out of that business.
Paul thought the sky was made of water? Does that mean we should ignore St. Paul outright? That’s just a foolish thing to write. Who is this guy?

Will be googling monk made fruit cakes now…
“Socialism has never worked after being tried in various communal settings for two thousand years.”
Don’t confuse socialism — which is a government-imposed economic system — with the VOLUNTARY vows of poverty and obedience undertaken by religious communities, some of which have been around for centuries or even millennia. If communal living “doesn’t work” then how did so many monasteries and convents survive as long as they have? Again, it’s because they enter into that lifestyle voluntarily and after plenty of discernment and prayer. Religious life and government-imposed communism/socialism have about as much in common as a happy sacramental marriage does with the relationship between a pimp and a young girl forced into prostitution.
Elaine Krewer: You appear to have missed my point which is that failure to follow the laws of Economics begets its own failure no matter the setting. I recommend a re-read of “Wealth of Nations” by Adam Smith. Milton Freidman’s writings are also a credible source.

Respecting conventional microeconomic insights does adjudicate certain policy disputes. Not sure if Annett’s taken the wrong side of those particular disputes.

Misuse of the term ‘Ponzi scheme’ is a vice of which people should wean themselves.

Communism is about denying freedom, free will and the rational human soul of the sovereign person
In my youth we had herring almost every Friday. I do not know if it was red, but I really did like it.
