Predictions for 2024

Once again I boldly go where angels fear to tread and make predictions for 2024:

  1.  The GOP will take the White House and Congress.
  2.   The Democrats will make a strong effort to get Biden to drop out, but it will fail.
  3.   There will be an assassination attempt on the life of Donald Trump, either before or after the election.
  4.   The attempts by the Pope to provoke a schism will meet with some success.
  5.   Much more evidence will be forthcoming on the Epstein sex with minors ring.
  6.   A major miracle will take place in full public view.
  7.   A major terrorist incident involving Palestinians will take place in the US.
  8.   The Vatican Bank scandal will grow larger.
  9.   A major Marian apparition will occur.
  10.   Don will be incorrect on some of his predictions

I’m playing it safe, very safe:

  1. PF & Co. will spout more craziness; most Bishops will remain silent.
  2. The sun will rise in the East and set in the West.
  3. Marriage will remain between a man and woman.
  4. Carbon Dioxide will remain in PPM and food for plants.
  5. Wind and solar power won’t work without (wait for it)….. wind and solar.

Donald, I like your relatively optimistic approach. I especially hope numbers 6 and 9 come true.
My only addition to the effort is probably worthy of Captain Obvious, but I predict November and December of 2024 will be replete with violence (mostly planned and instituted by the Left and the Feds), and with lawfare at its peak. If Trump indeed can beat the cheat in the election, the efforts to keep him from taking office will make 2020 look like a walk in the park.

Prediction I hope will not be true:
The election of 2024 will look like the election of 1860, but with less civility.

Are numbers 6 and 9 connected?
I sincerely hope you are right with your first prediction.

Here are my 24 for ’24:

  1. DeSantis wins Iowa, but enough GOP voters elsewhere get psy-oped into nominating Trump.
  2. Trump legal and donor fatigue causes the campaign to practically run out of money by the end of August.
  3. On a completely unrelated note, 2024 will be a VERY good year for network news.
  4. Democrats keep the Senate.
  5. Trump fatigue will cause significant losses down ballot.
  6. RFK Jr. gets over 22% of the popular vote.
  7. The Supreme Court overturns the Colorado ruling 5-4, but at least 2 other states do something similar under different legal theories. Colorado will basically ignore the ruling.
  8. The Ukraine war will end with a deal where Russia retains Crimea and the territories of the Donbas.
  9. The end of the Ukraine War will be brokered by China, which will come to be seen worldwide as the new peace broker.
  10. The Biden administration will attempt to force Israel to reach some compromise deal with Gaza, which Israel will refuse. Significant portions of the Democrat leadership will publicly advocate for an alternate candidate.
  11. There will be no women deacons following the ’24 SofS. Instead, a new middle category of non-ordained women deacons will be created (paralleling the non-liturgical blessings for sinful sexual relationships) that on paper leaves the doctrine unchanged but in practice lights the paper on fire and smokes it.
  12. Bishop Schneider will get Strickland-ed.
  13. Traditiones Custodes 2.0 completely removes the ability for the TLM at diocesan parishes by basically overruling TC 1.0 and removing from the bishops any authority over the liturgy in their sees. It also will either dissolve the former Ecclesia Dei communities or limit their celebrations of the liturgy in parish churches, following the Cupich protocol.
  14. Following the paradigm of Amoris Laetitia, in 2-3 months a dubia will be sent to Rome (possibly from Germany) concerning a “non-liturgical blessing” of a sodomitical couple in a Church with all the trappings of a wedding but not a wedding *wink wink*, to which the response will be that this interpretation is the only valid one.
  15. A cottage industry of sorts of very publicly blessing various “couples” (and hey, why not, throuples, etc.) will emerge within progressive Catholicism, with Fr. Martin’s recent photo-op (and lack of consequences thereof) as a paradigm.
  16. AI as a disruptor will begin to plateau as the energy costs associated with it become more and more cost-prohibitive.
  17. A pro-Palestinian message or subtext will be embedded into the halftime show at the Super Bowl.
  18. The Senate will continue to be the venue for more, um, how to put this, theatrical performances.
  19. One major streaming service will be forced to shutter or be acquired by another.
  20. Lawsuits over trans surgeries will spike and cause at least one health system to prohibit them outright.
  21. More “evidence” of alien craft will be conveniently announced in Aug. or Sept., with hearings lasting until mid Oct. Still no bodies.
  22. Fentanyl related deaths in the US will overtake another major cause of death category.
  23. The student loan default rate will get so bad that it will prompt something like a CARES act for student loans.
  24. 2024 will make us pine for the halcyon days of 2020 when we only had a worldwide bio-weapon plague, collapsing economy and abject tyranny to deal with.

Various predictions by a number of people will be true in greater or lesser part. Net result will probably be negative effect due to a confluence of various events during the year. Sort of like 44 BC, 476 AD, 1861, 1933 etc. Don’t forget that God allowed Israel to be punished a number of times before they got the message.

Hoping for 6 and 9 too. I hope you are wrong in 7. Besides that, if the cards a right, your predictions make for an interesting 2024. The US needs to take its government back from the circus. It will benefit the rest of the world greatly.
