We were supposed to listen to the Spirit speak through the Synod. So the Spirit spoke. Are they now upset about that?
Not sure if a Spirit spoke…But I have a feeling the Holy Spirit spoke. The Holy Spirit put them all on mute! I just find it fascinating that the Pope didn’t have the guts to go through with the LGBT agenda after all of the yadda yadda yadda.

Prayer.
The prayers of the faithful should never be considered fruitless. The invisible movements and changes of heart comes out of Our Lady’s Treasury, of which you and I make daily deposits.
Just curious bc their LGBT group now includes + which IS pedophilia, how can that ever be okay in a parish setting given the amount of abuse we’ve gone through?
I believe they have lost their critical thinking skills.
They got their answer and have had the answer- no. But this synod way means it’s never shelved – talked about forever till they get their way

If I was a Rich Raho fellow-traveler, I wouldn’t be too worried by this supposed setback in my quest to get the Church’s blessing for sodomy (and worse). After all, the notion that any group of people selected by a Pope can be labeled a “synod” and presto! somehow thus speaks for the Holy Ghost has now been normalized.
All that’s left now is the mopping-up. The next ‘synod’, or the one after that, one with a more carefully selected and coached membership— that’s the one that will give the Rich Rahos of the Church the things they want.
The purpose of this pseudo-synod was to set a precedent and give this newly manufactured ‘voice of the spirit’ some credibility. Now Francis — or his successor— can gather any crew of cronies, label that crew a ‘synod’, put it to work until it gives him the results desired, and then declare you and I are bound by those declarations.
This entire ‘synodality’ monstrosity must be rejected, in its entirety. Nothing good will come of this because the process itself is an abomination.
