The gun control group reminds me of certain soldiers who were telling the tired passengers that just emptied the train cars, to disrobe and step into the showers.

We learned in 2020 that liberal politicians do not care about controlling street crime and are happy to use antifa as Democratic Party muscle. The gun control discourse is all about blaming ordinary people for slum crime and about confiscating the weaponry of people who will resist them (as well as a justification for lawfare contra people who defend themselves with force).
