Women are called to follow and imitate the Blessed Virgin Mary’s life and work…to stand beneath the cross and keep the word of God. Mary wanted nothng else but to be the Mother of God, Jesus Christ.
What will these foolish women do when their oil of wisdom burns out and the Bridegroom comes? Then the Bridegroom will lock the door to them and send them away.
And all of the Bridegroom’s followers will lock the door to them and send them away.
Wisdom, grace, logic and clarity, the women demanding ordination have none.
Since when does man demand of God what God freely gives to help our salvation?
No female has ever been called to ordination. A female priest without a vocation is a usurper and follower of the Liar.
You can’t baptize a rock. If you are of the devil, you can try to disobey the biblical command of the Lord that only men can be ordained to the ministerial priesthood; but women upon whose heads the hands of a disobedient prelate are laid will not be priests. Guy, Texas
I recall Archbishop Sheen saying;
*If our Lord wanted women to become priests than he would of ordained His Mother Mary to be the first one.”
He didn’t.
Imposters will increase as the persecution of Holy Church continues.
The Church is suffering it’s Calvery.
Amen to all here. And, Philip, I agree with you that what I call “the argument from Mary” is the absolute best logical counter to the spurious claim that the selection of only men as Apostles was nothing but a cultural prejudice.
And I had to laugh, without mirth, at EWTN’s new queen of the news, Ms. Alvarado, protesting this past Friday that the “critics of the Synod” must be wrong, because her beloved PF has already said women can’t be ordained. For someone who is supposed to be such a great mind, her credulity is astonishing. Bergoglio’s occasionally orthodox words mean nothing, which anyone who honestly thinks about his actions over the past ten-plus years has to know.
Amen Philip. Any good Catholic has devotion to Our Lady. And our Lady specifically told the people “Do what He tells you” at Cana. Without a doubt.
Most of these who have been pushing for this are the ultra feminist Catholics and nuns who are man-haters and closet lesbians.
There will be a schism. Don’t underestimate the conservative youth (lay faithful, priests, nuns, youth ministers) who are quiet and dormant in the Church and who won’t adopt this nonsense. It goes against what Christ instituted.
Leave it to Thomas Reese, SJ —who tried to smear then-Card. Ratzinger at the time of the papal conclave as a”Nazi” for his forced service as a 16-year-old in a Hitler Jugend AA battery squad—to shriek the Devil’s own lies.
