That is why though lucrative we do not have weddings at the farm and vineyard and we do not make social comments on our business Facebook. I managed a county run farmers market for five years. The rules only addressed safety and hygiene.

I’m pleased for him but I’m inclined to complain anyway. (1) it shouldn’t have taken six years to reach a decision; (2) the decision is just only if his legal costs have to be paid in full out of the budget of the East Lansing corporation counsel’s office; (3) the decision is just only if he is paid a substantial indemnity for business losses and for his time; (4) the decision is just only if you can attach the assets of the municipal councillors responsible for this travesty; (5) the principle invoked is too narrow.
Carve outs for evangelicals (negotiated by this generation’s David French types) are insufficient. No one should be subject to this. In truth, Gottfried Dietze was right: we’re going to regret abridging freedom of contract and association in an effort to counteract disagreeable treatment of blacks. Liberals believe that no one has the right to associate on terms of which liberals disapprove. The reductio ad absurdam of this has been dolts with MEd degrees in the student affairs apparat telling evangelicals that it is unacceptably ‘discriminatory’ for them to insist that their members be – ur – committed evangelicals.
Note, a farmer’s market is a common property resource. Space has to be rationed. Using political connections or ideological litmus tests to distribute public benefits is blatantly abusive and it should not have taken six years for our worthless courts to figure that out.

That and congestion issues is all they’d ever address were normal people in charge. Liberals are not normal people.
