Faced with people within the diocesan offices hateful of married couples using NFP, I asked a good priest why do they behave that way? He told me: “ lay persons working in diocesan offices had left their religious orders orders because they had problems with chastity”.
David WS that doesn’t surprise me. I’ve heard the reverse also- that lay people have left seminarians studies because the Priests had a problem with chastity. Anyone is the target of the devils temptations when left to their own devices and filling up their day with nothing to do. Keep them busy and they are less likely to give in to temptation. Well, they won’t have time.
