Impeachment of Biden Moves Forward

The Senate will never convict him, but the two times the Democrats in the House impeached Trump have set a precedent for impeachment whenever the House and the White House are held by separate parties.  If this reminds classicists of the weaponization of politics in the Late Roman Republic, join my club.

However, Biden has committed impeachable offenses, whereas Trump did not.

Yes, Biden has committed high crimes as President to include his refusal to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon, presumably because they own him. Trump merely did his job, which was investigating Biden’s corruption that would have landed the Big Guy in jail if we had a functioning justice system.

As I understand it, Representative Lauren Boebert is leading the charge on this. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene describes her as a little witch (replace the w with a b) on the House Floor. Boebert is also getting divorced under some questionable circumstances. And she always wears skin tight jeans to attract the male voter in Colorado. Don’t think very much of her. True, don’t know the circumstances of her pending divorce. Sounds like she and her husband have a racuous history. Politics, sex and divorce haven’t changed much since the ancient Roman Republic.

But truthfully, I don’t like Boebert one bit. Has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a woman. I just don’t think she’s loyal to anything but what gratifies her ego. But heck, that describes the majority of politicians everywhere regardless of political party.
