No “pride” jerseys, but the “pride” nights will continue … because it was the jerseys that caused distraction.
Bettman is such a weaselly dweeb.

For now. The Bud Light effect sometimes takes a couple of whacks to really get through.

… Or the jerseys are gone for now … it could be the “one step back” before the three steps forward. If Bud Light is the model, then the alphabet community will begin their boycott of the NHL in 3-2-1 …

What they’re discussing is the surprise.
My guess 10 years ago was that the gay lobby would attempt to secure the effective legalization of pederasty by persuading prosecutors to refrain from prosecuting homosexuals who seduced adolescents. By way of analogy, prosecutors in New York have for about 50 years now refused to bring cases under a segment of the Penal Law which defines a crime called ‘Obscenity’. Law was never repealed; it was all done very much under the table. I didn’t think the gay lobby cared about paedophiles.
So, what we’ve learned is that the gay lobby actually does see paedophiles as being of their own and they’re being quite explicit about it. The question at hand is what puts a stop to this.

My guess is the pushback from players not willing to wear a “pride” jersey it is far greater than those willing to wear one. Meaning the ones not wanting will wear one will sit out the round, their team will flunk and so on and so forth…most people don’t want this rubbish shoved in their faces.
I’m pleased with the NHL’s decision. The mystery to me is why the entire managerial class has consented to the gleichshaltung. It caters to a single-digit minority largely uninterested in spectator sports and irritates a much larger population.
