Trump was right about everything.
The good Germans are looking at 45% increases in their already-bhigh energy bills. Let’s Go [What-is-Brandon in German]!
They told us the World was ending in 2000.
It’s all about the money wring out of politicians to whom they return 10% for the ‘big guy.’
Things go wrong fast when the intellectual leaders of the ‘revolution’ are imbeciles such as Algore, Greta Thunberg, John Kerrey, and a thousand pretend climate scientists who fabricate [monkey with the assumptions, estimates, forecasts, etc. as instructed by whoever is paying $1 million for 250 pages of graphs charts, and dire oredictions] junk science to scare little children.
Germany now has a multiparty system and 1/4 of the seats in the governing coalition are held by the Greens, who stand for arrested development and magical thinking. Shutting down reactors is their nonnegotiable.

The Scottish Assembly is governed by an SNP-Green coalition, and Green extremism (and the Sturgeon follies) may cost them in the next election. The Greens have no such traction at Westminster (yet).
Keep praying. Every second of life comes from the hand of God.

I had an exchange with a Scottish separatist in 2016 where he explained to me his viewpoint thus: they were tired of being ruled by Southern English public schoolboys. The only prime minister Britain had between 1964 and 2016 who fit that description was walking around with the name David Cameron, and most of his cabinet did not fit that description. In lieu of the ‘Southern English public schoolboys’, the Scottish National Party wants to be bossed around by Eurotrash in Brussels. Now that Mme. Sturgeon has shuffled off, they’ve replaced her with a Pakistani dude. Something tells me that Scottish Nationalists are not very serious people.

Not when the ScotNats muck up the ferries and threaten the fishing, critical to their original core of voters in the Highlands and Isles. They’ve centralized everything in sight, angered Central Belt voters by pushing Gaelic where it’s not wanted, and now a series of scandals over secrecy and money could send more than a few to the nick (Nikki included). If there were one Unionist party instead of three, they would have been pushed out before, and may get pushed out now. To return to the original topic: their minor partner the Greens are a big part of their current problems: they can’t hold power without them, but may not be able to win with them.
