Indeed. What an incompetent AG. Just like his boss, Heard most of the questioning on the radio. Senator Hawley had a picture of the armed SWAT team with a battering ram that descended on the pro life activist, his wife, seven children. Garland denied what was before his eyes. He seems not to know the law or the organization of his DOJ. He’s just a placeholder drawing a nice salary. Proud of our senators. Time to question the Deputy AG and on down if need be like the head of the US Marshal Service.

We have local prosecutors, so no need for the U.S. Attorneys much less the Attorney-General and the Criminal Division to intervene in these cases if they’re mundane cases. The exception would be if there were evidence of multistate conspiracies. Which of course there is in re Antifa activities generally, but the Department of Justice has been committed to playing Mr. Magoo because Antifa is Democratic Party muscle.

It’s nice to see a comedian write his own material. I figured it was his own material because of the hesitating delivery. It really seemed like he was making it up as he went along.

I am with Art Deco in prefering a return to constitutional norms that place local and state law enforcement at the forefront of most investigations and prosecutions but I am disinclined to support federalizing only those cases which injure abortion clinics. Either these are crimes worthy of the immense resources of federal law enforcement or they are not. It cannot be that only those which fit the preferred narrative are crimes.

Separately, I don’t like pushing together attacks on our churches with attacks on pro-life facilities. I am far more concerned that the FBI has no interest in attacks on our churches. An attack on an AME church gets the full federal treatment. The cover of darkness is never an excuse raised because the history of attacks on black communities makes such an excuse intolerable. So it whould be for all religious communities. Again, I prefer local and state enforcement but, if we are going to federalize it, viewpoint discrimination such as we are seeing here should shock us.

How about busting up the FBI into a dozen successor agencies and firing every line employee in Washigton in the process?

100% in agreement, Art Deco. It is a nest of villainous vipers.

Regardless of what one thinks of some of Mitch McConnell’s other actions, his blocking the confirmation to the Supreme Court of this reptilian creature was his redeeming accomplishment.

Hats off to Senator Ted Cruz;

That assassin from California had vitriol. MSM didn’t miss an opportunity to fuel his hatred, nor the radical Democratic party members, Senators or Representatives.
I’m recalling the were gonna impeach that ############! moment spewing out in public and in front of her son. Classic liberal tolerance in action.

I think Garland was trying to say that the US marshals never made any arrests … I wish Cruz had asked him about that.

Taxation without representation. nothing less. Taxpayers pay to be protected against vandalism. What are we getting for our money? Lame excuses? Time to sue.

Also a hat tip to Sen. Josh Hawley, who really unleashed a can of whoop ass on Garland:
