Musk and Dinesh have a firm grasp of the obvious. It’s largely lacking in the DC beltway, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, etc. where oligarchs have zero self-awareness or cognizance of the hundred million that know otherwise.
“Musk and Dinesh have a firm grasp of the obvious.” Everything about Musk’s behavior during the Tham Luang cave rescue makes me doubt his firm grasp of the obvious, at least as a general rule. This includes his ludicrous plan to enclose the youngsters in what amounts to watertight coffins that would not be able to make it through the narrow turns in the cave to his slander of one of the REAL heroes as a pedophile — which apparently you can get away with if you are a billionaire and the victim of your slander is not.
The Warden and I recently watched [I think on one son’s TV Disney+] the movie on subject. Apparently [our lawyers always required us include that in commentary], until the Brit rescue divers came up with the sedative, float them out solution, most everyone thought the Thai soccer boys were finished.
I left out of my earlier comment that [when I worked] saying someone had a “firm grasp of the obvious” was not a compliment.
In any case, he and Dinesh are correct here. The Twit censors, and progs in general, being low-info, low-IQ trash have no grasp of the obvious.
My opinion [opinion is not truth], it’s disingenuous, unjust and uncharitable to drag up dated minutia to impugn an otherwise good man.
saying someone had a “firm grasp of the obvious” was not a compliment.
At the risk of introducing a logical paradox into the conversation, this should’ve been obvious 😀
“saying someone had a “firm grasp of the obvious” was not a compliment.” It may be damning with faint praise, but it’s even worse when even the faint praise is undeserved.
Where can you go to get news these days? To find out what is really happening?
If Twitter breaks the blockade and becomes the trusted first place where people can break through the totalitarian narratives and find out what is really going on, Musk will have accomplished what he meant to -and make another fortune.
The Left wants Zero places like that.
All it takes is One to break the mold, and win the prize.
A bit like physics. He’s a smart cookie.
