My soon to be former Congress critter really needs to learn to not blog drunk. Joe Kent likely will not get into Congress this time, but he has plenty of years ahead of him. He is a twenty year Green Beret with eleven combat deployments. His late wife Shannon Kent was a Senior Chief Petty Officer, and a 16 year veteran of Seal intelligence support missions, when she was killed in Syria in 2019 by a suicide bomber.
At the time of her death she and Joe had two small children.
Joe Kent could lose in a thousand elections and not be a loser. Adam Kinzinger could win a thousand elections and never be anything but a pathetic loser.
Why is Adam Kinzinger attacking a congressional candidate in another state? And why is he doing so in language that only the most witless or mendacious partisan Democrat would use?
The book on Kinzinger for a long time in Illinois Art is that he was a pretend conservative and an empty suit. He is now intensely bitter, a man without a political future, and he spends his time trolling conservatives on twitter.

Critics of McCain maintain he was a lousy aviator and avoided being forcibly separated from the service due to family influence. No clue if that’s true or not. Do know that he paid his dues in his last posting.
Note, the Navy was McCain’s life from birth up until age 44. Kinzinger was in the Air Force for about six years and has been in the Air National Guard for about a dozen years. I appreciate his enlistment. I appreciate his efforts, but one of these men was more committed than the other. Kinzinger married late in life (at 42) and has 1 child. McCain married later than most in his cohort (at 28) and has 7 children. McCain was irritating, but I’m not recalling him being implicated in propagating malicious Democratic Party narratives.
