This is after a concerted effort by the media to make January 6 into the worst thing ever in all of human history. What has happened since the purloined election is the production of a lot of citizens who are highly critical and suspicious of anything the media says or does. As the inhabitants of the old Soviet Union used to say: There is no truth in Truth (Pravda) and there is no news in News (Izvestia).
Oh, and it doesn’t help the media that most of their agents now are ill-informed airheads.
The note about the riots of the summer of love is crucial. For the reporter to describe Jan 6 footage as “disturbing” while her colleagues (and perhaps her as well) spent half a year trying to gaslight the country is exactly why no one cares about Jan 6. The thinly veiled contempt in her voice doesn’t help either.
Liz should actually beg Trump to come and turn the jan 6 hearings into a circus; way more people would care about it then.
I love her halfhearted push back. She clearly was outclassed by an average bunch of Trump supporters. Liberals really are the modern version of the know nothings.
