Our priest gave a homily two weeks ago that was unforgettable.
He spoke of the Cesar, Augustus and the adopted practices of the Romans at that time. How hedonism was undermining the Republic and accepted practices, abortion as remedy for failed contraception, homosexuality, pedophilia was eroding Rome. Lower birthrate’s, lower male/female marriages, and the Cesar watched before his very eye’s the destruction of his reign.

Forgive me for not doing our priest justice in my poor recount of his homily, but you get the idea.

The trajectory we are on is that of a doomed Rome.

We have Christ,
and Our
Lady.

They may very well help U.S. to pull out of this nosedive before it disintegrates. The Legion of Mary may just be the antidote needed to rescue souls. Please pray that proposition 3 in Michigan is crushed.
This ambiguous proposal to change the Michigan constitution is nefarious. A bloodbath to come if it gets voted in. Thanks in advance for your considerations.

The trajectory we are on is that of a doomed Rome.

And it’s happening so quickly, it must be by design.

More to be feared is that the Almighty will stand aside and allow the country to reap the fruits of its own stupidity and perfidy. It happened a few times to the Old Testament Jews and they got the Babylonian captivity and the Roman conquest. We are not immune.

A recurring post at Instapundit posits that Chinese Biden’s handlers are purposefully grinding down middle class Americans.

I disagree. They actually are that stupid.
