Burn of the Day

I praised his book back in the day.  I did not realize it was a self portrait of the author.

I was probably one of Jonah’s biggest fans back in the day. I have all 3 of his books. (Bought Liberal Fascism twice actually.) Back then it wasn’t a description of the author. This is just what happens apparently when you take a politician so personally, you start believing unquestioningly the media. And I’m not making a euphemism – that is the biggest change you can absolutely notice in Jonah in 2016 on is that he went from someone who constantly challenged and questioned media narratives (heck I remember learning how to from him) to just accepting them without question. And in 4 years since then they have pulled him into becoming what he once fought.

(You can watch the same thing with mark shea – he went from questioning to a believer and has followed the press off the cliffs of insanity ever since.)

The “Subpoenas are totally the same as an FBI raid, or at least an equally questionable warrant!” guys have me shaking my head at their nonsense, and this blows it utterly out of the water– what the heck does being called to testify make one a goon, a conman, or a criminal?
