Thought For the Day

Not only is the pope silent, but this brave man’s own brother bishops throughout the world appear to be as well. If the leftist governments these bishops suck up to have their way, they will meet the same fate this bishop is, perhaps worse!
Some are:

That was with a few minutes looking.
The USCCB statement in particular is weak. They’ve spoken out much more forcefully against the death penalty and legitimate attempts to secure our southern border.
Your blanket criticism was wrong Greg. Admit it.
First of all, I said “appear” to be. In a situation like this, you’d think you wouldn’t even have to search at all.
Given that you have yet to admit your characterizations of my criticisms over the years of bishops like Chaput, Strickland et al, which I have provided more than ample evidence for, as “pounding the table” and other false characterizations was wrong, you might be in a position to complain about what constitutes, at most, a slight oversight on my part. Until then…
at most, a slight oversight on my part.
Next time make a cursory search Greg before making one of your patented “all bishops” comments. It really was not hard to find these statements.
Furthermore, if my “blanket criticism” is wrong, so is yours:
“In light of the growing crisis, Monsignor Juan Antonio Cruz Serrano, the Holy See’s Permanent Observer to the Organization of American States, recently stated that ‘the Holy See cannot fail to express its concern,’ and he appealed ‘to the parties to find ways of understanding, based on respect and mutual trust, seeking above all the common good and peace.’ “
Since the Holy See’s permanent observer speaks on behalf of the pope, you made a erroneous criticism, following your logic. You really ought to read some of your links a bit more closely, Don.
Nice try Greg. The Pope is a man who shoots off his mouth about anything and everything. He hasn’t breathed a word himself against Danny Ortega’s government. Even Crux has noticed:

At any rate I do not want this back and forth to detract from the point of the post, the silence of Pope Francis, which is typical for him when a regime claims to be Leftist.
Yeah, whatever.
Focus…please…on the Spirit of St. Maximilian Kolbe at work…before your very post.
We are brothers in Christ…
Not brothers in Judas.
